Should Government of India impliment Indigenous History?
i agree...right now the history that we are reading is completely distorted.why Distortion of indian history??...for appeasing some people.... but the government has no knowledge about the fact that true history will solve many religious conflicts in india.....history books should give knowledge about existing temples and mosques.....info about how early mosques were built by delhi sultans ,moghuls ..... how religions in india came into existence .....spread of islam in india....forceful conversions . These things were given little or no importance in the ncert books for school children . morals of Bhagavad Gita were attributed to people like gandhi .What i have observed in history books is ..... the atrocities committed by muslim rulers on hindus and sikhs were given little importance giving an impression that india flourished during medieval period....books are trying to picture britishers as real demons who divided muslims and hindus ...... distorting history..with intention to promote frndly relations between hindus, sikhs and muslims is good but it did not yield good results ....we can see....at the most it helped one party to get votes. Good muslims like Dara shikov didn't find prominent place in our history books(Dara faced ire of muslims just because he had respect for upanishads ,took blessing from guru Har rai ji ) .......forget history books..these days movies are being made by distorting history .we can't find much difference between pakistani history books and indian leftist history books.so,atleast now government should realize that importance of true history . unfortunately history is subjected to distortions for garnering votes by one political party.i want to see the responses of kowtowers of nhru dynasty....
