Why does she keep doing this?!?

this annoying girl i went to school with last year keeps telling people I was mean to HER! i left the school last year, the girl hared me and did everything in her power to make my life miserable! like when i won the student council election, she came up to me and said "you knew it was a joke, right?", she tripped me in the hallway, told nasty rumors, and while i was on oovoo with my friend from my old school, she came into a three-way and told me i was ugly, had no friends, poor, annoying, won the election because of a joke, my family was stupid, i pissed her off, i thougth i was perfect, she hated me, and no oen liked me. I called her a prissy snot and hung up. well, guess what? my friend went to camp with one of her friends (she wasn't mean to me), and she told my friend the same story, only twisted around, that i said what she said!! what should i do?! tell the friend the true story? or leave it alone? any other suggestions? thanks!
