Do you think today's society is in a musical lull?

It seems like music came to it's creative peak in the eras of clical music. In my opinion, it's ultimate peak was Beethoven. Anyway, it seems as though music has taken a nosedive. Even the clic rockers like Led Zeppelin and The Beatles were creative, but today's music seems robotic and has no creativity in it. Do you agree?
