Why do non-believers of Christ and all that entails, get on the spiritual link and disrupt the help given?

I believe everyone has the freedom to voice their opinions on any subject, so do not get me wrong. Also, some may even be inquisitive in that area, and want to understand why we do believe in God. I almost cleared myself from this site yesterday, because I answered a question I was knowledgable in. In retuturn, someone posted not to listen to me on their answer, (which was way before mine) then sent a nasty email to me voicing their opinion as well. I am very early in my Christianity, and came here to grow and help people with what I do know. I never respond to things just to hear myself speak, nor pretend I am wise in an area I'm not. I can handle diversity, and do not impose my beliefs on others unless asked. I certainly wouldn't email - let's say - an atheist, and start telling them about my opinions or stop communication between them and another person. Am I asking too much again? Am I hoping for the humanity that doesn't and will not exist on this earth? Only caring ones reply.
