Why are there no Clothes drying machines in Thailand?

I guess you must be getting tired of seeing womens panties hanging on coard next to your exit door! I lived there I know what it's like!One thing that you see all over Asia is clothes lines,all over the place. The power isn't stong enough in most homes to supply a clothes dryer.
