Movie Identification Help!?

Hi, my friend and I were having a nostalgic day, watching lots of our favorite movies from years ago when I brought up one about a wolf. There's a statue of it in Central Park, New York where the movie starts out. It then transfers into a cartoon and introduces the main character, a wolf whom everyone hates. It then saves the day (rah rah) and the owner of the wolf's lover, by bringing back medicine. The setting is in a snowy place in the past so if you remember it, please tell me!
